I have recently become re-acquainted with Journalism. Last summer I started a blog called Dobroyeutro which can be found at skypotrol.net. Dobroyeutro means good morning in Russian. However, I use it more in the slang sense of the word to mean 'wake up' or 'pay attention'.
Due to recent life experiences and acquaintances with authors Daniel Estulin and Dimitri Khalezov (which have now become friends). I have thus become fascinated with investigative journalism. I guess you could describe me as a blogger and amateur investigative journalist. It is more than just a hobby but I say amateur because I am not getting paid but I enjoy passionately seeking, discovering and sharing the truth with as many people as I can.
I earned a B.B.A. in Finance / Investments in 1996 from Baruch College in New York city. I finished my degree in the evenings whilst working on Wall Street during the day. I started at the bottom and rather quickly eventually worked my way up to an international equities trader for over 12 years. I traded foreign stocks and currencies for such firms as Deutsche Bank, S.G. Warburg which was then bought out by Swiss bank as well as a couple of other firms. It was through this career that I was able to travel and see the world. I am very fortunate to have traveled to over 30 countries including India, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, United Kingdom, Kuwait, Cuba, Morocco and Russia.
It was through my world travels that unexpected and unpredictable life experiences led me to become re-acquainted with writing and journalism. I am currently unemployed and plan to devote most of my time to writing my upcoming book project. It has always been a dream an goal of mine to write a book. The titled that I have selected for the moment, though rather long but very apropos to what will be written, thus the title is "Drug Smuggler's, Gun Runner's, Russian Intelligence Officers and Terrorist's Wives: And These Are My Friend's, Not My Enemy's"
